Osteopathy Etobicoke Toronto FAQs
Osteopathy is a hands-on treatment technique that emphasizes the physical manipulation of the body's muscle tissue and bones. It's a holistic approach that aims to improve overall health by strengthening the musculoskeletal system.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive form of therapy that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column, and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in these areas and alleviate stress and pain.
Your first session will involve a detailed medical history and a physical examination. This may include diagnostic tests such as flexibility and range of motion. The osteopath will then discuss a personalized treatment plan with you.
The number of sessions varies depending on the individual and their condition. Some people experience immediate relief, whereas others may need several treatments. Your osteopath will be able to give you an indication after your initial assessment.
